I started RootWithMe.com for three reasons. First, I want to promote financial education among African-Americans. So many of us lack basic personal finance skills that can improve the quality of our lives. I want to change that.
Second, I want to highlight the achievements of African-American business leaders and investors that often are under-reported by major news outlets.
Finally, I want to analyze public policy initiatives that can counter the racial wealth gap in the United States.
